The house itself is stunning, with Moroccan artefacts and warm colours creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. the superior king room I stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering amazing views from the top floor. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a delicious welcome drink and homemade flapjacks by the friendly owners Martin and Elaine. They were incredibly helpful, providing local knowledge on places to visit and dine in the area. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated on a quiet residential street close to the town centre and seafront, making it easy to explore the English Riviera and other nearby attractions. the attention to detail in the rooms, such as bathrobes, free WiFi, and complimentary toiletries, really added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend the Hillcroft-Guest House to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing boutique hotel experience in Torquay. the combination of personalized service, charming decor, and convenient location make it the ideal choice for a memorable stay in the area.
